Project Manager

About the Role

Join our client as a Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives spanning business and technology in the Investment Banking sector, based in Dubai. This position demands extensive experience (7 to 10 years) specifically within the Investment Banking domain to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee projects throughout the entire project development life cycle.
• Create business cases and develop comprehensive project proposals.
• Plan projects meticulously including scope, budget, and timeline coordination.
• Manage stakeholders and maintain governance standards effectively.
• Oversee and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies impacting projects.
• Handle vendor relations and commercial aspects of projects.
• Employ agile, waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies as suitable.
• Manage user acceptance testing, final implementation, and the go-live process.
• Deliver timely executive reports and coordinate with steering committees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong expertise in Investment Banking domain.
• Proven experience managing projects across their full life cycle.
• Capability to develop business cases and detailed project plans.
• Experience in scope, budget, and schedule management.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and governance management.
• Proficient in RAID management including risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Vendor and commercial management background.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Experience managing UAT, implementation, and go-live events.
• Strong reporting skills and ability to liaise with executive committees.
• Certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferable.
