Role Overview

Join our project execution team in Dubai as a Project Manager focused on Industrial Automation. The primary aim is to drive the delivery and completion of projects in alignment with customer orders and our project management benchmarks, ensuring promised quality, performance, and scope are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical, operational, and financial activities related to airport baggage and cargo handling system projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Establish project parameters, monitor milestones, and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders utilizing varied tools and methodologies.
• Organize and maintain all project documentation such as plans, schedules, and risk logs, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for team members.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, conveying these effectively to the Projects Director to facilitate field implementation.
• Identify risks and issues, evaluate their potential impact, and collaborate with the project and functional teams to design mitigation approaches.
• Seek opportunities to enhance project management processes and cooperate with stakeholders to adopt best practices.
• Provide precise project status updates during monthly reviews and weekly calls to the project director.
• Conduct quality checks on budgets, timelines, project plans, and status reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, procurement, quality, health & safety, contract management, and others to optimize project execution and profitability.
• Facilitate clear communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to align objectives and priorities.
• Manage subcontractor interactions to track and control performance.
• Implement measurement frameworks to capture and analyze project metrics and data.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant codes, practices, policies, standards, and specifications.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of project management experience within airport baggage/cargo handling systems or large-scale industrial automation projects.
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing project teams.
• Proven ability to handle complex milestones and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong grasp of project management techniques, principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of project resource and schedule management concepts and procedures.
• Proficient in project management software including Microsoft Project and SAP.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Primavera, and Concept board tools.
• Excellent leadership and teamwork aptitude with an open mindset and strong listening skills.
• Ability to work independently, remain flexible, and manage stress effectively.
