Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Defence & Security team where you will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of innovative projects serving Australian customers. Your role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, overseeing acquisition and engineering changes within air and maritime technology domains to meet contract objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently oversee execution of one or more projects from initiation through to completion
  • Manage financial and operational resources to ensure project profitability and contractual compliance
  • Create and implement comprehensive project management plans
  • Collaborate daily with a matrix of team members across functions
  • Contribute to project management-related proposal writing when required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Strong skills in information analysis and development of innovative methodologies and processes
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated capacity for continuous learning
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days in the office/site and 2 days flexible working, based at Homebush or Brisbane Offices
  • Must be an Australian Citizen eligible for Defence Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the defence industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Projects
