Aerospace/Aviation Technical Contract Recruiter

Overview

CAE Parc Aviation is looking for a Contract Recruiter to support its Technical Support Services (TSS) sector. This role, part of the Operations Support team, collaborates closely with Project Leaders, Business Development, and Operations to find and place specialized technical contractors for global aviation projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with TSS leaders and teams to understand project-specific and upcoming contractor needs.
• Design innovative sourcing strategies to attract specialized aviation and technical professionals.
• Continuously build and update talent pools in critical skills and regions ahead of demand.
• Develop and execute recruitment marketing and sourcing campaigns to engage technical candidates.
• Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates while ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
• Coordinate interview processes and present qualified candidates to project leadership.
• Manage contractor relations including availability, onboarding, placements, and rate negotiations balancing budgets and profitability.
• Maintain knowledge of contractor markets, remuneration trends, and regional working conditions.
• Build enduring relationships with candidates, contractors, hiring managers, and organizational leaders.
• Handle multiple vacancies and stakeholder demands concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Participate in ongoing improvements and innovations in recruitment procedures and tools.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in contract recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and contractor placement.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment in a busy, high-volume setting.
• Expertise in proactively sourcing candidates through diverse channels such as networks, databases, referrals, job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
• Experience in building talent pipelines for niche or difficult-to-fill roles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
• Capability to prioritize effectively and adapt to evolving business requirements.
• Meticulous organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours to support stakeholders across multiple time zones.
• Authorization to work in Ireland.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruitment experience in sectors such as aviation, aerospace, engineering, or specialized technical services.
• Experience handling international recruitment across various geographic areas.
• Understanding of employment laws, visa processes, contractor engagement, and compliance matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Industry knowledge of aviation and technical services environments.

Work Schedule and Environment

The position operates Monday to Friday with a hybrid working arrangement of three days remote and two days onsite, accommodating global project demands and time zones through flexible working hours.
