About the Role

CAE Parc Aviation is looking for a dedicated Contract Recruiter to support its Technical Support Services (TSS) division. Embedded within the Operations Support team, this role collaborates closely with Project Leaders, Business Development, and Operations to secure specialized technical talent for aviation projects spanning the globe.

This position demands a fast-paced, commercially-oriented recruiter skilled in sourcing, evaluating, engaging, and placing aviation technical contractors on customer projects worldwide. The recruiter will build talent pools, manage contractor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure talent availability for immediate and long-term project needs.

Supporting an extensive contractor network with numerous active projects, this role is instrumental in project success by ensuring access to high-quality technical expertise where required.

Offering significant autonomy, the recruiter will influence recruitment tactics, talent pipeline development, and workforce planning. The position operates Monday through Friday with a hybrid work model. Flexibility in working hours is essential due to global clientele and contractors spanning multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with TSS Project Leaders, Operations Support, and Business Development teams to forecast contractor needs.
  • Craft innovative sourcing strategies to attract and engage specialized aviation and technical consultants.
  • Establish and sustain talent pipelines for critical skills and regions ahead of demand.
  • Design targeted recruitment campaigns and initiatives to draw technical experts.
  • Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates effectively.
  • Maintain precise candidate records and ensure GDPR and company compliance.
  • Present qualified candidates to project leaders and assist during interviews and final selections.
  • Manage contractor engagement activities including availability checks, onboarding, and placement coordination.
  • Negotiate contractor rates balancing budgets, market conditions, and profitability goals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contractor markets, labor conditions, and compensation trends.
  • Foster long-term relationships with contractors, candidates, hiring managers, and leaders.
  • Handle multiple vacancies and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Participate in process improvements and enhance recruitment systems.
  • Develop recruitment methods that increase responsiveness, contractor quality, customer satisfaction, and organizational performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in contract recruitment involving sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and placing contractors.
  • Proven ability to manage entire recruitment cycles within high-volume, fast-paced settings.
  • Proficient in proactive candidate sourcing through diverse channels including networks, databases, referrals, job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Experience building pipelines for specialist or difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Efficient in managing priorities with agility amid changing demands.
  • Meticulous organizational and administrative abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office software.
  • Willingness to flex working hours to accommodate stakeholders across various time zones.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recruitment experience within aviation, aerospace, engineering, or technical service sectors.
  • Background supporting international hiring across multiple regions.
  • Familiarity with employment law, visa processes, contractor engagement protocols, and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of aviation industry operations and technical services environments.
