Project Head

About the Role

Mirai Plast Private Limited is looking for a seasoned Project Head to spearhead the establishment and operational commencement of a new blow molding facility specializing in manufacturing plastic containers intended for the dairy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive project management from initial planning to start of commercial manufacturing.
• Develop plant layout including utilities, production workflow, storage, and material handling setup.
• Handle selection, acquisition, installation, and commissioning of equipment and supportive infrastructure.
• Set up manufacturing procedures, quality assurance systems, maintenance schedules, and standard operating protocols.
• Recruit and nurture a strong core team for operations.
• Supervise vendor and contractor relations, budget control, timeline adherence, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Liaise with customers to ensure technical, quality, and audit standards are met.
• Manage plant operations post-commissioning and implement continuous performance enhancements.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated history in establishing and launching blow molding, rigid packaging, or plastics manufacturing facilities.
• In-depth understanding of HDPE and PP processing and packaging technologies.
• Experience with scaling up production, overseeing plant operations, and leading teams.
• Capability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, contractors and manage regulatory certification processes.
• Mandatory background in supplying plastic packaging for dairy, FMCG, food, or beverage sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry compliance, customer audit processes, quality management systems, and food-contact packaging standards within regulated sectors.
