Job description
Role Overview
We seek an experienced Civil Structural Engineer with at least five years of expertise in fabrication structure projects. The candidate will have solid skills in structural analysis, design, and planning, ensuring structures meet safety and regulatory requirements. This role includes preparing detailed designs, carrying out complex calculations, and issuing stability certificates to confirm structural compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of diverse structural systems, factoring in safety, technical, economic, and environmental considerations.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding, material handling, and quality assurance.
- Utilize specialized structural analysis and design software effectively.
- Generate and issue stability certificates aligned with applicable standards and regulations.
- Ensure all outputs comply with applicable building codes and safety regulations.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities as required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with a specialization in structural engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically in structural engineering with emphasis on fabrication structures.
- Certifications from recognized bodies such as the Indian Association of Structural Engineers or equivalent are advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities and adept in handling detailed architectural and engineering drawings.
- Competent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multidisciplinary coordination.
Software Skills
- Proficiency in structural analysis platforms such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or RISA.
- Experience with design drafting tools including AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks for creating elaborate structural plans.
- Knowledge in preparing official stability certificates documenting structural reliability.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
