About Arup and the Role

As a Project Coordinator specializing in Electrical engineering, you will have a vital role in delivering complex mechanical and electrical engineering packages for major infrastructure and airfield projects based in Singapore. Partnering closely with the Superintending Officer and their Representative alongside multidisciplinary teams, your role includes coordinating project progress, managing construction contracts, and ensuring adherence to client requirements, regulations, and quality standards, all aimed at achieving safe and superior project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintending Officer and their Representative in managing construction contract administration for substantial infrastructure and airfield initiatives.
- Coordinate design efforts among consultants, contractors, and project participants to ensure smooth construction execution and handover.
- Evaluate technical documentation, specifications, and proposals to confirm conformity with statutory and design standards as well as project goals.
- Oversee project planning tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, tracking progress, claims handling, and supervising on-site operations.
- Generate project reports, maintain clear technical communication, and uphold quality management and ISO standards during the project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
- Holds an engineering degree acknowledged by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore or an equivalent body, with at least eight years’ experience in electrical engineering and project management.
- Experienced in contract administration including PSSCOC and proven coordination of infrastructure or building projects.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of regulatory frameworks, construction processes, quality control, project planning, and site oversight.
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills and capability to work collaboratively across diverse project teams.
- Demonstrates proactivity, attention to detail, critical thinking, good judgement, integrity, and dedication to high standards of engineering delivery.
