Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects throughout construction and delivery phases ensuring timely completion
  • Conduct routine site observations and prepare detailed reports
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to maintain project progress
  • Review and address Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and technical queries promptly
  • Monitor construction advancements and resolve emerging issues proactively
  • Maintain integrity of project quality, schedule, and design intent during all phases
  • Assist in contract administration and overall project delivery operations
  • Collaborate closely with the architectural team to secure successful project outcomes

Key Requirements

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Architecture
  • Substantial experience as a Project Architect managing projects through construction completion
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough site observations
  • Experience with large-format retail, civic, warehouse, industrial, or commercial developments
  • Confident representation of projects onsite engaging confidently with contractors and consultants
  • Comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand construction methodologies, relevant building legislation, and contract administration
  • Mandatory proficiency with Revit software
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously and own project responsibilities
  • Strong technical aptitude with problem-solving skills
  • Organized with acute attention to detail
  • Team-oriented and able to work effectively within larger collaborative environments
