Overview

This role presents a prime opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable specialist poised to advance into leadership. You will lead a team of six, steering performance, continuous process enhancements, and delivering outstanding customer service within the Accounts Receivable division. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a six-person Account Receivable & Credit Control team.
  • Oversee all aspects of the function including billing, collection activities, and credit control procedures.
  • Monitor accounts’ ageing reports and proactively address overdue payments.
  • Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve billing discrepancies and to enhance collections outcomes.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance leadership to cultivate team skills and capabilities.
  • Contribute actively to financial planning efforts and broader organisational goals.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience managing a small team or a senior professional ready to shift into a leadership role in accounts receivable and debt management.
  • Competency in leading accounts receivable functions and managing debt portfolios effectively.
  • Familiarity with top-tier Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) will be an asset.
  • Strong communication skills enabling positive relationship building internally and externally.
  • A collaborative and empathetic leadership approach that supports and motivates team members.
  • Previous exposure to large, complex organisational environments is desirable.
