Job description

Role Overview

Archway Recruitment invites an enthusiastic Talent Manager to join our Wellington office, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking a new challenge. Our award-winning recruitment consultancy serves the Built and Corporate Sectors, and we're looking to support our Accounting and HRIS/Payroll teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attract and match candidates to permanent, contract, and fixed-term roles relevant to your expertise.
  • Serve as a critical liaison between consultants and candidates to secure top talent for appropriate positions.
  • Conduct candidate interviews via MS Teams or in-person meetings.
  • Maintain and actively manage candidate databases to build pools of suitable applicants.
  • Prepare CVs and concise candidate summaries for client presentation.
  • Create and post job advertisements, and manage incoming candidate responses.
  • Oversee candidate compliance and reference checks.
  • Assist with proactive marketing of candidate profiles.

Growth and System Development Opportunity

For candidates with additional experience and a passion for systems and processes, there is the potential for a more senior-focused role. We are already incorporating AI, and see substantial opportunities to improve systems and processes, particularly through AI integration, and to champion systems improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Personable individuals who enjoy collaborating and supporting others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Maintains a professional but smart casual appearance.
  • Ambitious, self-driven, and eager to grow their career.
  • Excellent organisational and time management capabilities, combined with a good sense of humor.
  • A tertiary qualification is preferable but not mandatory.

Experience in recruitment is appreciated but not essential.
