Role Overview
The Programmatic Strategist role is pivotal and client-facing within their fast-paced SaaS and B2B marketing environment. This position manages daily operations of Programmatic campaigns across all channels including Display, Native, Video, and Audio. Responsibilities encompass campaign creation, optimization, reporting, custom strategy formulation, and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of programmatic campaigns on Demand-Side Platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design media strategies aligning with client goals.
- Utilize first and third-party data for precise audience targeting and segmentation.
- Perform continuous campaign monitoring and optimization to meet performance and pacing objectives.
- Produce detailed performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting campaign performance promptly.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure solid campaign delivery.
- Act as primary client liaison for regular updates, presentations of campaign plans, performance data, and strategic guidance.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in programmatic roles within publishers, advertising agencies, or ad tech firms, with B2B experience considered a plus.
- Practical experience building and optimizing campaigns using DSPs, particularly The Trade Desk and DV360.
- Proven capacity in programmatic media planning, buying, and establishing performance measurement frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of how programmatic integrates with other paid and organic marketing channels to exceed KPIs.
- Demonstrated success managing programmatic growth in B2B/SaaS environments managing budgets exceeding $50,000 monthly.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for both internal teamwork and client interaction.
- Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a results-driven approach capable of multitasking.
