About Directive Consulting

Directive Consulting stands as a prominent B2B performance marketing agency focused on delivering tangible revenue growth, not just potential leads. Utilizing a proprietary approach known as Customer Generation, Directive breaks through market noise to generate actionable pipelines, foster sales-qualified leads (SQLs), and scale brands within the SaaS and broader B2B sectors. Their expertise spans Paid Media, SEO and Content, Conversion Rate Optimization, Revenue Operations, and Go-To-Market Strategy, designing marketing frameworks that succeed.

The company values agility, bold thinking, and top-tier talent that challenge norms to exceed campaign expectations for innovative brands. They aim to shape the future of marketing by building groundbreaking solutions.

Role Overview

This role seeks a strategic Programmatic Strategist with a passion for fast-paced SaaS and B2B marketing. This client-facing position manages daily programmatic campaigns across multiple channels including Display, Native, Video, and Audio. Responsibilities encompass campaign development, optimization, reporting, and crafting personalized client strategies while maintaining communication with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive programmatic campaign strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Utilize internal collaboration to integrate data and media strategies.
  • Leverage first-party and third-party data to target and segment audiences accurately.
  • Set up and manage campaigns using Demand-Side Platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, adjusting tactics to meet pacing and performance benchmarks.
  • Produce detailed performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot campaign delivery and performance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with creative, analytics, and account teams for unified campaign execution.
  • Act as primary client liaison, delivering regular updates, presenting plans, and advising on strategy.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in programmatic roles within publishers, advertising agencies, or ad tech firms, preferably with some B2B exposure.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in media buying and campaign optimization using DSPs, ideally The Trade Desk and DV360.
  • Expertise in programmatic media planning, buying, and designing measurement frameworks to gauge campaign effectiveness.
  • Deep understanding of integrating programmatic with other channels, both paid and organic, to exceed client KPIs holistically.
  • Proven success managing programmatic campaigns for B2B/SaaS clients with monthly budgets exceeding $50,000.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and maintain client relationships.
  • Analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a results-driven approach, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Performance Goals

  • Achieve 100% of Net Sales Metrics (NSM).
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Scores (CSAT) of 4.4 or higher.

Employee Benefits

  • Competitive living wage with variable salary depending on skills and experience.
  • Comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; full employer coverage for employees, and 50% contribution for dependents (available in US, Canada, Mexico).
  • Support for mental health through certified therapists and subscriptions like Headspace.
  • Physical wellness programs including physical therapy, virtual workouts, and complementary primary care memberships.
  • Generous paid time off policies including unlimited PTO (with a 2-week minimum), company holidays, birthday off, end-of-year closure, and paid parental leave.
  • Financial benefits such as traditional and Roth 401(k) plans with a company match up to 3%.
  • Annual tenure-based bonuses and company-wide retreats.
