Flood is a seed-stage fintech startup operating in the B2B space, focusing on delivering innovative product and service solutions.
Position Overview
We seek an experienced Program Manager with a strong technical background to oversee complex software projects from initial concept through to deployment. This role requires complete ownership of delivery, proactive risk management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, transforming business needs into engineering action plans and supervising planning, testing, deployment, and post-launch activities.
- Serve as the primary liaison among customers, business teams, engineering, QA, DevOps, and operations, fostering trust with senior stakeholders and resolving conflicts.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to comprehend technical dependencies and evaluate solution strategies; confidently demonstrate and explain products to clients when needed.
- Lead governance processes including risk, assumptions, issues, dependencies (RAID) management, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and conducting steering committee and executive reviews to ensure high-quality, timely deliveries.
- Deeply understand customer business challenges, critically analyze requirements, align technical plans with business priorities, and promote adoption post-implementation.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10 to 15 years in program or technical program management with a strong grasp of enterprise software delivery and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder environments involving engineering, product management, QA, business, and customers.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering executive-level presentations and influencing senior leadership.
- Proficiency in risk management, dependency coordination, release planning, and navigating fast-paced, dynamic startup settings.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, enterprise applications, and software architecture fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Confluence, release management, and DevOps principles.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in technology services organizations and enterprise software implementation in sectors like Retail, Insurance, BFSI, or digital transformation.
- Background starting as a software developer and moving into program management is advantageous.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is desirable.
Candidate Profile

- Comfortable engaging with CXOs and senior stakeholders.
- Business-oriented thinker who challenges unclear requirements and balances technical feasibility with business goals.
- Ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously with technical credibility.
Additional Information
Location: Bangalore (Domlur)
Salary Range: ₹1,500,000 to ₹2,500,000 per annum
