About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Production Team Member for our Yatala, Queensland facility on a permanent full-time basis. This role involves working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, across 8-hour shifts that start between 6:00am and 3:30pm depending on production needs.
This position offers a varied hands-on experience, allowing you to build skills in various parts of the manufacturing process. You will play a vital role in ensuring production runs smoothly, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment with safety and efficiency.
- Monitor production activities, identify issues, and escalate challenges affecting targets.
- Conduct quality inspections to guarantee product standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas and tools.
- Assist with line setups, changeovers, and handling materials to keep operations fluid.
- Develop abilities in machine operation, cooler refurbishment, and forklift driving (with valid license).
- Adhere to food safety, quality control, safety, and environmental protocols at all times.
- Contribute positively to team culture and support continuous improvement efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing environments; FMCG or beverage production background is a strong advantage.
- Possession of a valid forklift license and prior forklift operation experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Knowledgeable of food safety, quality, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office software.
- Positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a dedicated work ethic.
