Job description
About The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our night shift team in Auckland. This vital hands-on position involves ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, promptly attending to planned and unplanned maintenance, and minimizing downtime to maintain production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out both scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, responding swiftly to breakdowns.
- Reducing equipment downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults while continuously exploring opportunities to improve processes.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to foster strong working relationships throughout the organization.
- Utilizing computer skills to maintain accurate records and update reports regularly.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a current New Zealand electrical registration and practising licence (EWRB).
- Have substantial fault-finding experience and familiarity with PLC systems, with additional credit for knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs.
- Understand New Zealand electrical standards and safety regulations thoroughly.
- Exhibit a practical, proactive approach paired with clear communication skills.
- Dual trade experience in electrical and fitting trades is highly advantageous.
