Position Overview
This full-time opportunity is for an experienced Production Support Analyst at FIS, a leading fintech company whose solutions impact global markets, companies, and individuals. The analyst will actively support key financial risk management applications and engage with global clients.
Role and Team Responsibilities
- Provide support for FIS Credit Risk Manager, FIS Risk Analytics Manager, and FIS Enterprise Risk Hub applications.
- Install application release updates to maintain system integrity.
- Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives related to these applications.
- Manage changes and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Maintain production systems for major financial institutions with collaboration across teams.
Key Duties
- Take ownership of processes and database structures related to supported applications.
- Conduct thorough issue identification, investigation, and resolution.
- Perform basic administration tasks on Microsoft Windows and SQL Server environments.
- Engage in general troubleshooting to maintain operational stability.
- Build and sustain communication channels with internal stakeholders, such as Client Experience and Professional Services teams.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated technical skills including knowledge of operating systems like Windows, networking fundamentals, databases, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems with a logical, methodical approach.
- Strong communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical information to diverse audiences verbally and in writing.
- Approximately 3-4 years of experience in customer service or technical support roles.
- Adaptability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and adjust to shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically supporting the FIS Credit Risk Manager application is advantageous.
