Role Overview
The Production Scheduler will be embedded in the High Voltage Business unit based in Savli, Vadodara, India. This role demands a candidate who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving business settings and is capable of working effectively across diverse teams and cultures. Strong multitasking ability with adherence to delivery timelines and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed daily and weekly production schedules.
- Ensure production plans align with volume requirements set out in the master production and demand plans.
- Manage conversion and release of production orders according to the production plan, coordinating for material availability and technical closure to meet production commitments.
- Monitor adherence to schedules, investigate root causes of deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze inventory reports to identify and manage slow-moving, overstocked, and obsolete items.
- Demonstrate resilience and strong character when facing challenges.
- Embody the core company values of safety and integrity by taking responsible actions and supporting colleagues.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background: Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years in production planning.
- Technical skills: Proficient in SAP PP and MM modules; knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with S4 HANA and Power BI is advantageous.
- Language proficiency: Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Personal traits: Quick learner with adaptability to emerging technologies and changing demands.
