This role focuses on comprehensive cost management for building and civil engineering projects, covering everything from initial budgeting to final account settlement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review cost estimates for tenders and contractual documents, collaborating closely with architects and clients to prepare bills of quantities.
• Implement risk assessment, value management, and maintain cost control throughout the project timeline.
• Identify and evaluate commercial risks, formulate responses, and provide guidance on procurement strategies.
• Manage subcontractor allocations, evaluate completed work for payment processing, and handle financial administration.
• Advise on contractual claims, conduct detailed outcome analyses, and compile comprehensive progress reports.
• Stay informed of the latest building contract formats and their applications.
• Understand and consider health and safety regulations in project execution.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field, combined with verified experience in quantity surveying, particularly in sizable industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement procedures, and contract law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant quantity surveying software tools.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, numerical aptitude, and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Membership in professional organizations such as RICS or CIOB is advantageous.
