Role Overview

• Position: Production Engineer
• Experience Required: 2 to 4 years
• Educational Qualification: Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Industry Focus: Mechanical Fabrication and Process Equipment Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production tasks to achieve targets aligned with project timelines.
• Supervise the entire fabrication workflow from raw material preparation to finished product.
• Collaborate extensively with design, planning, quality assurance, stores, and project management departments.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specs, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
• Optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery to drive production efficiency.
• Promptly troubleshoot and resolve any operational or technical issues affecting production.
• Keep detailed production logs, daily progress reports, and performance documentation.
• Initiate and implement process improvements to increase productivity and operational effectiveness.

Requirements and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing process equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Columns.
• Experience and understanding of ASME codes, fabrication standards, and working with advanced engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office for report generation and tracking.
• Core skills include production planning, mechanical fabrication, process equipment manufacturing, production monitoring, and team coordination.
