Production Engineer

About the Role

We seek a dedicated Production Engineer to oversee and manage factory production and shop-floor operations in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. The role demands hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication along with effective production oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily factory production and shop-floor activities.
• Oversee sheet metal fabrication processes including Welding, Cutting, Drilling, Bending, and CNC machinery operations.
• Strategically plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials to achieve production goals.
• Ensure production output meets quality standards within set timelines.
• Interpret mechanical and fabrication drawings as well as Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Monitor and enhance production efficiency, minimize waste, and control product rejection rates.
• Lead, train, and supervise the production team comprising operators and welders.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Design, and Stores departments for seamless production flow.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, 5S methodology, and discipline on the shop floor.

Qualifications and Working Conditions

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Work schedule includes six days a week on-site in a Work From Office (WFO) setting.

This position is based in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad and requires comprehensive experience in sheet metal fabrication and factory production management. The candidate must be proactive in managing operations to deliver timely and quality production.
