Job description

Company Mission

Payhawk is a premier global spend management platform designed for rapidly growing businesses. Based in London, it integrates company cards, reimbursable expenses, and accounts payable into a unified solution that empowers finance teams to efficiently manage and automate expenditures at scale.

Our clientele encompasses fast-expanding and established multinational firms across 32 countries, including LuxAir and Wagestream. We maintain offices in New York, London, Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Vilnius, and Sofia, and are supported by leading investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greenoaks, QED Investors, Bek Ventures, and Eleven Ventures.

At Payhawk, we value flat organizational structures, accountability, open feedback, constructive critique, and candid communication. We embrace diversity and inclusion to harness the best ideas from all perspectives. Our commitment extends beyond finance to fostering continuous learning, empowering teams, and enhancing our environmental and social responsibility. Through our software and automation—featuring virtual cards and digital subscriptions—we help clients reduce paper use.

Role Overview

We seek a Product Marketing Manager to spearhead and refine one of our global cross-functional Go-To-Market Pods—a small, nimble team focused on scaling a particular product domain. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in advancing commercial growth and establishing our brand as product-led. Your collaboration with product leadership and oversight of a team of marketing specialists will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise and centralize insight into our buyers, including customers and personas.
  • Gain market proficiency regarding our product’s competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, target audience pain points, and technological environment.
  • Clarify to Sales and Marketing teams the value Payhawk offers to our buying audience.
  • Manage the creation of impactful product positioning, value propositions, and messaging, ensuring consistent deployment and ongoing optimization.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and Sales Enablement to design effective campaigns and content supporting the full customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to shape strategy and roadmaps informed by market and sales data.
  • Participate in Product Design Sprints to research and plan Go-To-Market propositions for new features.
  • Lead development and upkeep of competitive enablement materials for Sales and Product teams.
  • Oversee strategy, goals, and execution for launching new products and features.
  • Serve as the liaison connecting Product and Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment and shared understanding.
  • Monitor and refine key metrics such as win rate, deal velocity, pipeline health, product adoption, and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B product marketing or equivalent, ideally with exposure to B2B SaaS or a high-growth startup environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with expertise in writing, storytelling, and live enablement, capable of translating complex ideas into clear, engaging formats including white papers, websites, videos, ROI calculators, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using advanced AI tools to enhance marketing outcomes, especially in content creation, rapid messaging refinement, and market intelligence.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and deeply customer-focused in decision making.
  • Humble yet ambitious, with a strong desire to drive significant impact.

Company Benefits

  • Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
  • 30 days of paid holiday leave annually.
  • Company card from Payhawk for expenses.
  • Monthly allowance for travel expenditures.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
  • Fitness membership to promote wellness.
  • Competitive salary and compensation package.
  • Regular company-wide team events fostering collaboration.
  • Opportunity to participate in an exchange program at one of our other global offices (London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Munich, Sofia).
