Key Responsibilities
- Oversee product change management (PCM) and exercise control over product updates.
- Grant approvals and manage control for unreleased products.
- Authorize Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Execute Part Change Notification (PCN) in collaboration with Global Product Support.
- Handle field service activities by reviewing, approving, and filtering system feedback impacting customers.
- Ensure accurate customer-shipped configurations and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) precision.
- Conduct Configuration Accuracy Review Meetings (CaRM).
- Approve Non Standard Requests (NSR).
- Own and implement common modules roadmap following Phase 5 of the ePLC process.
- Manage component roadmaps including part obsolescence, substitute parts, alternative suppliers, and implement cost-reduction strategies.
- Facilitate intercompany communication to align product strategies, pricing, spare parts availability, and restricted parts orders, including coordinating product roadmap and market proliferation meetings.
- Drive cost reduction roadmap execution.
- Address strategic issues with vendors.
- Manage all post-release product changes triggered by engineering, quality, safety, customer needs, or supply obsolescence.
