Job description

About the Role

This opening is with a partner company seeking a Product Led Growth Manager based in Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes high-impact growth through managing and enhancing self-serve customer acquisition journeys targeted at technical user bases.

The candidate will oversee the entire customer funnel, encompassing signup, trial, activation, conversion, and expansion phases, as well as product-led sales transitions. Additionally, the person will act as the product owner for the website and application experiences, setting priorities and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams.

This position integrates elements of product management, experimentation, data analysis, lifecycle growth strategies, and developer-centric experiences. Collaborating closely with engineers, data specialists, AI developers, marketing, customer success, revenue operations, and sales teams will be essential to translate insights into tangible growth metrics.

The work environment is remotely focused, globally distributed, highly autonomous, and oriented towards rapid experimentation and continuous iterative development. Success metrics include enhanced activation rates, paid user conversion, self-service revenue growth, expansion, funnel velocity, and quality of sales-qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the self-serve growth funnel from end to end by defining, measuring, and optimizing signup, trial, activation, paid conversion, and expansion processes.
  • Serve as the product owner for both the website and product user interface, creating roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives that drive demand capture and funnel performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to release iterative enhancements to the website, application, and overall customer journey.
  • Design and execute conversion-focused experiments involving hypothesis creation, A/B testing, result analysis, and scaling of successful strategies.
  • Optimize product-led growth experiences within developer ecosystems, including open source, documentation, SDKs, code samples, and AI-agent platforms.
  • Gain in-depth understanding of developer workflows to improve first-time hands-on experiences and quicken activation phases.
  • Develop customer data segmentation frameworks leveraging product usage and firmographic data to support tailored onboarding, content delivery, and nurture campaigns.
  • Work intimately with RevOps to identify product-qualified accounts and determine appropriate timings for sales engagement supporting expansion or managed accounts.
  • Partner with product marketing, marketing teams, customer success, sales, and RevOps to harmonize efforts around shared growth funnel goals.
  • Continuously leverage data and customer insights to spot new growth opportunities and prioritize upcoming experiments.
  • Monitor and report performance indicators such as activation rates, conversion, revenue, expansion, funnel speed, and the caliber of sales-qualified leads.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in growth, lifecycle marketing, growth product management, or roles focused on funnel optimization.
  • Proven track record of driving growth within B2B SaaS, developer-oriented products, or organizations utilizing self-serve or product-led growth models.
  • Deep understanding of how technical users and developers assess, adopt, and expand within software tools.
  • Experience engaging with developer tooling, APIs, data platforms, or other technical user audiences.
  • Demonstrable ownership over website conversion and demand capture with focus on translating traffic into activation and revenue, beyond mere visit counts.
  • History of effectively enhancing activation, free-to-paid conversion rates, expansion, or reducing churn through product and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Robust analytical abilities encompassing metric definition, funnel instrumentation, user segmentation, product signal interpretation, and blending quantitative data with customer feedback.
  • Experience in a product owner or growth product manager role collaborating with engineering and design, including creating specifications, prioritizing workload, and iterative shipping.
  • Comfortable utilizing AI coding tools for rapid prototyping of experiments, mockups, and working concepts independently.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills enabling alignment of marketing, product, customer success, revenue operations, and sales teams on unified growth objectives.
  • Experimentation-driven mindset focusing on hypothesis testing, rigorous evaluation, learning, and adaptive prioritization.
  • Preferred: Hands-on coding experience or contributions to open source projects.
  • Desired: Familiarity with experimentation and analytics platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, alongside marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Beneficial: Experience in product-led sales, product-qualified leads, or facilitating platform-to-enterprise upgrade pathways.

Benefits and Work Conditions

  • Work fully remote with flexible scheduling.
  • Be part of a motivated, culturally diverse global team.
  • Engage with cutting-edge open-source technologies and tools.
  • Attend conferences and network with colleagues internationally.
  • Enjoy autonomy and freedom to work from any effective location.
  • Play a key role in expanding a developer-oriented product and influencing its growth strategy.
  • Work at the intersection of product-led growth, developer ecosystems, web data, and AI domains.
  • Participate in an international, collaborative setting with extensive cross-functional exposure.
