Our goal is ambitious: to empower anyone to launch, manage, and grow a short-term rental enterprise with AI-driven automation. Grounded in the technology from The Flex, Base360 integrates property management, guest communication, bookings, cleaning, maintenance, and finance within a unified platform.

Design Responsibilities

• Create core product experiences including dashboards and workflows for reservations, properties, guest communications, cleaning, maintenance, and financial management.
• Design user-friendly AI interactions that allow easy configuration of AI agents, monitoring of their actions, reviewing decisions, and manual intervention when necessary.
• Develop onboarding and setup flows to facilitate quick connection of channels, addition of properties, and rapid realization of platform benefits.
• Craft seamless booking and guest journey experiences encompassing direct bookings, check-in processes, extensions, and upsell opportunities.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive design system featuring reusable components and consistent interaction patterns to ensure a cohesive platform evolution.
• Produce website and marketing materials that clearly articulate the product’s value, including landing pages and feature visuals.

Day-to-Day Tasks

• Lead the design process from defining problems and conducting user research through to prototyping, final interface design, and implementation reviews.
• Engage with property operators and internal teams to understand workflows and challenges.
• Transform complex requirements into clear user journeys, wireframes, and refined interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs address real data scenarios, edge cases, and technical constraints.
• Conduct early testing of ideas, integrate user feedback, and continuously refine experiences post-launch.
• Utilize AI tools to expedite exploration and production phases while upholding high design standards.
• Proactively identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive projects to completion.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a strong portfolio showcasing both user experience strategy and exceptional visual design skills.
• Have experience designing SaaS products, dashboards, or applications with intricate workflows.
• Be proficient in Figma including features like auto layout, components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
• Demonstrate excellent judgement in typography, spatial organization, hierarchy, color theory, and responsive design principles.
• Excel at simplifying complex information while maintaining necessary user insights.
• Have hands-on experience working directly with engineers and overseeing design implementations through to production.
• Communicate design decisions clearly and accept feedback constructively.
• Exhibit high ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to progress amid evolving requirements.

Additional valuable experience includes familiarity with short-term rentals, hospitality sectors, AI-powered products, conversion optimization, or front-end development.
