Role Summary

The Produce Clerk is responsible for executing a comprehensive range of tasks diligently, professionally, and accurately. This role emphasizes the delivery of outstanding customer service, enhancing customer loyalty, meeting consumer needs, and creating a positive environment benefiting both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety regulations, corporate policies, and other related initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service tailored to customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Process and fulfill customer produce orders efficiently.
• Execute merchandising programs and promote products effectively.
• Prepare and handle deli products responsibly.
• Boost store sales by actively promoting produce items.
• Assist in training junior staff members to uphold service and operational standards.
• Order and receive inventory following company procedures for inventory control.
• Manage departmental shrink processes accurately.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment according to company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
