Role Overview

The Grocery Clerk is tasked with delivering all aspects of their role professionally, responsibly, accurately, and timely. This position centers on providing outstanding customer service, fostering loyalty, meeting customer needs, and promoting a positive, engaging atmosphere for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety guidelines, corporate policies, and related programs.
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock in alignment with company inventory controls, as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service addressing customer requirements.
• Boost store sales by actively promoting featured products.
• Maintain clean and presentable back shop and retail floor areas adhering to company standards.
• Prepare customer orders when necessary.
• Handle department shrink processes as needed.
• Assist in training newer employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Possesses above-average verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching.
