Bakery Associate

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and attractive presentation of bakery products, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
• Label and price all merchandise correctly.
• Comply with company policies and standards for cold chain management, thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling, product rotation, and expiry date verification.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols, including cleaning procedures.
• Manage ordering, clearance sales, pricing adjustments, and labeling processes meticulously.
• Prepare bakery items by accurately following thawing and baking instructions to maintain product quality and presentation.
• Securely arrange all displays in a safe and professional manner.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
