Position Overview

Join Walmart Canada as a General Merchandise Associate and enhance your retail expertise through hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer interactions by greeting visitors warmly, offering product and service information, aiding in locating items, assisting purchase decisions, addressing customer concerns, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain and oversee designated sections of the sales floor for optimal organization and presentation.
• Perform zoning duties to ensure assigned areas are orderly and well-stocked.
• Relocate feature merchandise to designated modular locations efficiently.
• Retrieve merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other store locations to replenish stock.
• Provide assistance with front-end operations as needed to support customer flow.
• Coordinate with team members to guarantee continuous floor coverage and customer support.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free workplace by following company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures properly.
• Support merchandise stocking, picking, and downstocking tasks; apply product protection when applicable; and set up or update modular displays including flexible modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old to be eligible.
