About the Role
Siemens Energy invites experienced procurement professionals to join the Reenergize program, offering an opportunity to advance your career within a cutting-edge, innovative organization focused on sustainable energy. This role is based in Dubai and targets professionals with significant expertise in managing procurement for industrial or project-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including issuance of Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluation of bids, purchase order creation, and managing contracts.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams from early stages to develop efficient sourcing strategies.
- Identify and assess suppliers to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards. Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and delivery timelines to maximize value and reduce risks.
- Monitor supplier performance and address concerns related to quality, delivery, or invoicing discrepancies. Maintain precise procurement documentation using ERP tools such as SAP.
- Facilitate both internal and external audit processes to confirm compliance with procurement policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of procurement experience, preferably within energy, infrastructure, or engineering project sectors.
- Strong abilities in negotiation, analysis, and communication.
- Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Thorough understanding of contract law, international sourcing practices, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
- Familiarity with automation, control systems, and electrical procurement considered advantageous.
