About the Role

Saudi Services For Electro Mechanic Works Co. SSEM is inviting applications for the position of Procurement Expeditor based at the Head Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role entails ensuring timely delivery of purchased materials and equipment in alignment with the procurement timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor purchase orders from issuance to delivery to ensure schedule adherence.
• Engage suppliers to verify order acknowledgments, shipping timelines, and delivery plans.
• Manage multiple orders concurrently to track progress against the procurement schedule.
• Detect potential delivery delays early and implement corrective measures alongside suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate updated delivery dates and prioritize urgent orders when necessary.
• Maintain and update order details in ERP systems such as Oracle and track data using Excel sheets.
• Coordinate logistics, warehouse, and requesting departments concerning shipment arrivals and necessary documentation.
• Address discrepancies in deliveries including shortages, damages, or incorrect shipments.
• Generate regular reports detailing order statuses, delays, and supplier delivery performance metrics.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Competency in ERP software, especially Oracle, and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
