Material Coordinator Engineer

About the Role

Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works Co. seeks an experienced Material Coordinator Engineer to join the procurement team supporting projects at Henakiyah. This role involves managing material logistics and coordination for overhead transmission line projects, specifically for sections at 380 kV and above.

Key Duties

• Manage coordination of material requests, deliveries, and internal transfers across departments and project locations.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise records of inventory including received, issued, and returned materials.
• Analyze project drawings, technical specs, and work schedules related to overhead transmission line assignments.
• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality, quantity, and project standards.
• Collaborate closely with design teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to meet material requirements and follow up on orders.
• Track shipment progress to guarantee timely arrival of materials at project sites.
• Handle follow-ups on supplier payments and letters of credit to maintain financial and procurement processes.
• Generate detailed material status and inventory reports for management review.
• Assist with physical stock counts, inventory audits, and ensure proper storage and labeling practices.
• Adhere strictly to corporate policies, safety protocols, and documentation procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• At least eight years of professional experience in material coordination or related roles.
• Demonstrable experience with EHV overhead transmission line EPC or turnkey projects of 380 kV and higher voltage levels.
• Strong expertise in procurement follow-up, inventory management, material coordination, and site logistics.
• Effective coordination, reporting, and communication capabilities are essential.
