Role Overview

We seek a Procurement & Expediting Executive to oversee comprehensive procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services essential to data hall fit-out, compute, and network deployment projects. The incumbent will ensure timely purchasing, supplier coordination, and smooth logistics to meet project timelines. This role reports to the Project Manager and works closely with the Procurement Manager, functioning within the project delivery team.

Key Duties

• Oversee procurement stages from requisition to order closure.
• Source materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Request and assess quotations, providing procurement recommendations.
• Issue purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation.
• Proactively expedite suppliers to meet manufacturing and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers to monitor shipments.
• Collaborate with project team members including engineers and construction staff.
• Keep procurement tracking records, expediting logs, and delivery timetables updated.
• Generate weekly reports on procurement and supplier progress.
• Assist in invoice validation, supplier performance evaluations, and contract management.
• Operate within a dynamic environment combining office and project site coordination.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related areas.
• Professional certifications in procurement considered beneficial.
• Between 3 to 8 years of procurement experience involving construction, engineering, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or data center projects.
• Proven capability managing procurement from RFQ to delivery phases.
• Strong background in expediting suppliers and coordinating logistics.
• Exposure to international procurement advantageous.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience sourcing network equipment, structured cabling, fiber optics, server racks, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, and data center fit-out materials.
• Familiarity with contractors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), systems integrators, and overseas vendors.
• Working knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, along with Microsoft Excel, Project, and documentation management systems.

Location, Reporting & Employment Details

• Work location is Singapore.
• Direct reporting to the Project Manager.
• Permanent full-time employment.
