Key Responsibilities

• Oversee tier-1 network monitoring on a continuous, round-the-clock basis.
• Monitor the operational status and health metrics of data centers, networks, and server hardware systems.
• Promptly detect and troubleshoot technical issues to reduce operational downtime.
• Record, update, and escalate incident tickets until resolution is achieved.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deploy, maintain, and repair data center infrastructures.
• Adhere to escalation protocols during critical incidents and act as the primary contact for high-impact events and technical escalations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within data centers, working alongside both internal teams and external vendors.
• Document daily monitoring activities and operational tasks thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with physical security regulations, including visitor management and equipment movement controls.
• Maintain accurate logs of access, service activities, and equipment transfers between data centers and warehouses.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance to guarantee quality and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Conduct regular evaluations of critical facility systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Diploma or relevant professional certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable experience.
• At least two years of professional involvement in data center operations or managing services in 24x7 critical environments.
• Availability to work in shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge and practical experience with electrical and mechanical systems typical in data centers.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network and server hardware components.
• Familiarity with the components of physical IT infrastructure.
• Experience using network monitoring and ticket management tools effectively.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities paired with effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under supervision.

Location and Reporting Structure

This position is located in Singapore and reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager.
