Job description

About Firmus Technologies

Firmus Technologies, founded in Australia in 2019, is a pioneering global leader in developing and managing energy-efficient AI infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region. Their unique AI Factories utilize advanced multi-generational liquid cooling, energy management, AI software orchestration, and innovation in construction to deliver cost-effective and sustainable AI compute power globally.

The Firmus AI Cloud platform supports developers, enterprises, educational, and governmental institutions to efficiently train and deploy AI models, providing cost savings and scalable solutions. As an NVIDIA Cloud and Engineering partner, Firmus offers employees exposure to cutting-edge AI infrastructure and a chance to influence the long-term landscape of the AI industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the Firmus data centre portfolio using Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud software.
  • Consolidate programs from various teams — including design, procurement, authorities, construction, testing, commissioning, and customer handover — into a cohesive overall IMS.
  • Critically evaluate contractor and consultant schedules to confirm appropriate logic, sequencing, calendar use, constraints, milestones, and critical path accuracy.
  • Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) and near-critical path analyses to identify risks, dependencies, and interface issues within schedules.
  • Track project progress against baseline plans and deliver schedule variance, milestone status, and forecast reports to project management and leadership.
  • Assess impacts of schedule changes, delays, and events on Ready For Service (RFS), contractual obligations, and important milestones.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contractors to develop recovery and mitigation plans safeguarding vital delivery dates.
  • Maintain schedule baselines, revisions, and change documentation following Firmus PMO project controls and change management protocols.
  • Support program integration within PMO dashboards and contribute to monthly progress and executive reporting.
  • Lead program coordination meetings and schedule review sessions to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear schedule analyses and insights for governance meetings, executive overviews, client engagements, and investor updates.
  • Drive continual improvement and standardisation efforts of planning, scheduling, and project control processes at Firmus.

Location and Reporting

The role is based in Hume, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and reports directly to the PMO Lead.
