About the Role
Become part of Tassal's dedicated team at our processing facility in Dover, Tasmania, situated approximately 90 minutes south of Hobart. As a Processing Cleaning Attendant, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of factory equipment and work areas after daily production to prepare the facility for the following day. This role is full-time, permanent, and operates on an afternoon shift schedule from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
Primary Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize machinery and workspaces used during production.
- Collaborate within a small team to maintain a ready and compliant factory environment for upcoming operations.
- Adhere strictly to safety and hygiene standards to support a secure workplace.
- Contribute proactively to a fast-paced production environment, focusing on efficiency and teamwork.
Candidate Requirements
- Availability to work around 35 hours weekly including some weekends as required.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to function effectively within a team.
- A valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation to the workplace.
- A positive, proactive approach emphasizing safety compliance.
- Proof of legal working rights within Australia.
- Agreement to undergo pre-employment health screening and drug & alcohol testing.
