Opportunity Overview

Currently, due to internal role changes, Hyne Timber is recruiting Process Operators for its Tumbarumba Mill. Employees receive comprehensive training on operating diverse segments of the timber production process and learn established procedures to produce premium timber products. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and ongoing skill development, fostering a multi-skilled workforce capable of meeting internal customer requirements efficiently.

Working Shifts

• Green Mill Day Shift: 10-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 4:40 pm, working Tuesday through Friday, full-time with leave entitlements.
• Green Mill Night Shift: 10-hour shifts from 7:30 pm to 5:40 am, scheduled Monday night to Friday morning, full-time, includes a 30% shift allowance.
• Dry Mill Day Shift (Fixed Term): 10-hour shifts 6:20 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, six-month fixed term position.
• Despatch Day Shift: 8-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, full-time, forklift ticket required with leave entitlements.

Location

The role is based in Tumbarumba, New South Wales, a scenic rural town offering affordable living and a supportive community atmosphere. It is located approximately a 90-minute drive from Wagga Wagga and Albury.
