Job Overview
This role involves designing and developing assembly processes, including jigs, fixtures, and gauges, specifically for new products related to motors, gearboxes, and encoders. The engineer will assess new product designs to enhance manufacturability, improve yield, and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine assembly procedures tailored for electric motor components.
- Design and develop supporting tools such as jigs, fixtures, and gauges essential for assembly processes.
- Analyze and evaluate new product designs to promote efficient manufacturing and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement process improvements focusing on optimization and control, contributing to product quality and production efficiency.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.).
- Demonstrate at least six years of professional experience in process engineering and development.
- Expertise in new product development with a strong focus on process optimization and control.
- Hands-on experience with tooling design, jig and fixture creation, and assembly process planning.
