Role Overview

The Private Investor position is primarily based in Dubai with flexible remote working options. This role involves identifying and evaluating investment opportunities that will foster YooKatale's growth in the mobile food sector and aid its expansion goals. Daily activities include financial and market analysis, business model reviews, risk and return profile assessments, and collaborating with leadership on capital allocation and funding strategies.

The position requires building and maintaining relationships with co-investors, partners, and stakeholders, monitoring portfolio performance, and advising on necessary changes to investment strategies to ensure alignment with YooKatale's mission and values. Responsibilities also include contributing to strategic planning and supporting governance and regulatory compliance related to investments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in financial analysis, investment evaluation, and portfolio management supporting current and future investments.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity, impact investing, or angel investment, particularly within emerging markets, food systems, or technology-driven enterprises.
• Capability to perform market research, analyze competitive environments, and interpret economic and industry data guiding investment choices.
• Proficient in risk assessment, due diligence, and valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow, comparables, and scenario analyses for companies at early and growth stages.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with founders, partners, and co-investors.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills focused on aligning investments with YooKatale's vision of food accessibility and healthy communities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid work arrangement based in Dubai and remotely, collaborating across diverse cultures and regions.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related disciplines; advanced degrees (MBA) or relevant certifications are preferred.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and professional ethics.
