Role Overview

The Investor position, based in Dubai with partial remote flexibility, is responsible for assessing and funding strategic projects that drive YooKatale's market growth and food accessibility goals. Core responsibilities include analyzing business plans, financial models, and market data to evaluate investment opportunities and risks. The role collaborates closely with leadership to devise growth strategies and optimize capital deployment, while monitoring portfolio performance and engaging in strategic discussions. Additional duties consist of contributing to fundraising efforts, fostering partner relations, and aligning investments with the organization's mission and principles.

Qualifications

• Proficient in financial analysis, investment review, budgeting, and ROI calculations.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, or impact investing sectors, preferably related to technology, food, or emerging markets.
• Skilled in conducting detailed market research, performing due diligence, interpreting data, and providing evidence-based investment advice.
• Strong strategic planning and business development skills with a track record in supporting growth or scaling startups.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities, capable of working effectively with diverse cultural teams.
• Genuine interest in enhancing food accessibility and social impact, aligned with YooKatale’s core values.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related field; advanced degrees such as MBA are a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Dubai, with flexibility for in-person meetings and cross-time zone collaboration.
