Your expertise in data science and AI will be harnessed to uncover valuable insights, drive product development, and enable faster, data-driven decisions across business units.
This position requires collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders, applying statistical analyses, and mentoring junior data scientists to foster a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Shape the strategic direction and key decisions for Service Collection by integrating strong business insight with sophisticated data science techniques.
- Establish, track, and report on key results at the departmental level for the Service Collection R&D group.
- Develop and deploy measurement frameworks, machine learning models, and other advanced tools to accelerate growth and guide product planning.
- Lead impactful projects by working collaboratively with Engineering, Product, Design, Data Engineering, and Research and Insights teams.
- Promote excellence in data science through training initiatives, continuous development programs, and active mentorship of data science team members.
Qualifications

- At least 9 years of experience in data science or related areas; preferred 10+ years, ideally combined with a graduate degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Computer Science.
- Deep expertise in a broad array of machine learning techniques, including large language models (LLM), with strong judgment on method selection based on business needs.
- Advanced skills in SQL and at least one data science programming language like Python or R, including proficiency with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- High standards for delivering quality results while balancing the need for timely solutions versus perfect outcomes.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences and craft engaging narratives.
- Experience with visualization tools and libraries such as Streamlit, Tableau, R-Shiny, Matplotlib, and Bokeh.
