Role Overview

We seek a highly skilled Software Architect with extensive experience in software development across diverse technologies and a deep understanding of application architectures within enterprise environments. A keen interest and practical experience in harnessing Artificial Intelligence to craft innovative solutions is essential. This client-facing role involves leading pre-sales consulting, including RFx processes, discovery sessions, solution design, and project estimation, while collaborating closely with senior leaders and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and engage in discovery workshops with clients to understand their business needs and technical challenges, proactively proposing AI-enhanced solutions where applicable.
• Architect robust application solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Prepare persuasive technical proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities.
• Provide precise and timely project scope and timeline estimates.
• Define and document high-level application architecture blueprints and methodologies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to solutions and delivery.
• Ensure solutions result in successful business outcomes as planned.
• Stay abreast of emerging application development trends, particularly in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
• Contribute to building reusable consulting frameworks and methodologies, incorporating the latest AI techniques into solution design and delivery.

Required Experience and Skills

• Solid background in software development and delivering solutions within an enterprise context.
• Hands-on experience across a broad technology stack spanning front and back-end development.
• Ability to rapidly conceptualize solution designs in pre-sales settings.
• Proficient in leading client discussions to extract high-level requirements and critical technical information.
• Demonstrated expertise in solution architecture with practical experience.
• Proven capability to define delivery plans, estimates, and incorporate risk-based pricing.
• Experience serving as a project or programme architect.
• Competent in identifying, mitigating, and managing delivery risks effectively.
• Expertise in cloud and container technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary cloud application design, architecture, and components.
• Direct experience with AI and ML concepts, frameworks, and applying them practically in solution design or strategic consulting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring, C# .NET, Python, React, Angular, etc.
• Experience with system integration and data/analytics approaches.
• Background in COTS or platform implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms, especially their AI/ML and generative AI services like Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, or Bedrock.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and integrating them into enterprise systems.
