Job Overview
The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for directing the organization's pricing strategy, particularly for medical services, to maximize profitability and maintain a competitive edge. This role requires detailed analysis of industry tendencies, market behavior, and patient spending trends to optimize pricing structures.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy and reliability of cost and financial data related to pricing.
- Prepare Best and Final Offers (BAFO) that reflect competitive market pricing aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the development of pricing strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Conduct financial assessments to measure pricing strategy outcomes.
- Oversee a team of pricing analysts, managing pricing computations, discrepancy resolution, and other pricing-related tasks.
- Analyze financial effects of pricing methods, considering past data and segment profitability.
- Create detailed cost support documentation adhering to CHI regulations to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Define and evaluate new business procedures and resource needs, promoting the implementation or continuation of the pricing system.
- Present pricing and cost revisions to key stakeholders effectively.
- Maintain an updated overview of policy modifications and trends affecting pricing and access to services.
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Finance, Medical, and Commercial departments to provide accurate pricing assumptions for budgeting and risk management.
- Develop strategies to manage regional and local pricing trends, including innovative measures to sustain pricing frameworks.
- Plan and monitor execution of cross-functional access plans for innovative product lines to meet pricing objectives.
- Establish annual pricing strategies and perform regular evaluations to adjust in line with client contracts, policies, or market changes.
- Evaluate price change proposals, analyzing their impacts on margins, volume, and competitor actions.
- Manage price estimation operations, ensuring they meet organizational pricing goals.
- Perform additional tasks within the role’s scope as assigned.

Experience Requirements
Applicants should have between three and five years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or revenue cycle management, ideally within healthcare or medical services sectors.
Educational Background
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a relevant discipline is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Language Skills
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
