Role Summary
The Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of wafer fabrication equipment through scheduled preventive maintenance and minor repairs while maintaining safety and cleanroom standards. This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift system within a wafer fab cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to established PM checklists.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on wafer manufacturing machinery.
- Conduct daily equipment housekeeping aligned with 5S methodology and routine maintenance.
- Strictly comply with safety protocols and cleanroom regulations.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by supervisors.
- Contribute ideas and participate in continuous equipment improvement initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance in manufacturing settings.
- Prior exposure to semiconductor or wafer fabrication cleanroom equipment is advantageous.
- Possession of relevant technical certifications in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office software.

- Competent writing skills for documentation such as PM checklists and shift pass-down reports.
