Position Overview
AustCorp Executive is collaborating with a prominent sheet metal manufacturing company to hire skilled Press Brake Operators for both day and afternoon shifts. The company emphasizes safety, quality, and employee welfare while offering a stable and growth-focused workplace.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly wage ranges from $43 to $47 based on experience, with additional pay for afternoon shifts.
- Two shifts available: Day (Monday to Thursday 5:00am–1:30pm, Friday 6:00am–12:00pm) and Afternoon (Monday to Thursday 1:30pm–10:00pm, Friday 12:00pm–6:00pm).
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and configure press brake and CNC machinery to produce sheet metal components.
- Interpret engineering drawings accurately to guide manufacturing.
- Carry out quality inspections ensuring adherence to production standards.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized work environment.
- Support other general production tasks as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience operating press brake or CNC machines.
- Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Background in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering quality work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting.
- Motivated, proactive approach with eagerness to learn.
A forklift license and previous press brake experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
