Machine Operator - CNC/VMC

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC/VMC Machine Operator to join a hydraulic manufacturing facility associated with a multinational company based in Italy. The role involves overseeing CNC and VMC machinery operations to produce hydraulic components that comply with specific design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise CNC and VMC machines to manufacture hydraulic parts.
• Set up machinery ensuring appropriate tools, fixtures, and parameters are correctly applied.
• Interpret engineering drawings and adhere to production specifications.
• Make necessary machine adjustments and apply tool offset corrections.
• Use measuring instruments to inspect components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Detect machining defects and report machine or production issues promptly.
• Maintain production output aligned with daily targets.
• Follow established standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Keep machines and work areas clean and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address machining challenges.
• Adhere to production schedules to ensure jobs are completed on time.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven hands-on experience as a CNC/VMC Machine Operator.
• Familiarity with hydraulic manufacturing or production of hydraulic components is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes and Vertical Machining Center operations.
• Possess HNC level knowledge or skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical engineering drawings.
• Understanding of basic machining measurement techniques and inspection instruments.
• Skill in performing machine setup, offset, and tool adjustments.
• Good grasp of production targets and quality assurance requirements.
• Capability to work safely within a manufacturing environment and comply with safety standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specific to hydraulic parts manufacturing and CNC/VMC setup and operations will be highly valued.
