Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Bengaluru. This role involves maintaining and operating machines daily to produce specialized tools and job works in accordance with provided drawings. The operator will also be responsible for documentation, collaborating with supervisors, and ensuring adherence to quality and punctuality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Produce special tools and complete job orders based on detailed drawings.
- Update internal process reports promptly after the completion of each task.
- Maintain daily production records in the logbook accurately.
- Coordinate with supervisors to fulfill delivery schedules effectively.
- Handle measuring instruments carefully and ensure their proper use.
- Work towards minimizing machine setup and cycle times.
- Adhere strictly to commitments and plans outlined by the reporting manager.
- Maintain punctuality, responsibility, and meet all company-mandated standards.
- Keep the work area organized by following 5S workplace practices.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient machine operating skills relevant to CNC or similar equipment.
- Completion of ITI or Diploma with at least two years of experience in machine operation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving machine tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- Understanding of quality system requirements and operational procedures.
