Presales Solution Consultant

Role Overview

Join Malomatia as a Presales Solution Consultant in the Application Development & Modernization team, playing a crucial role in designing and advocating for bespoke software solutions tailored to government and large enterprise clients. You will be a key technical advisor and strategist, collaborating with clients, sales, delivery, and architects to develop scalable, secure, and forward-looking custom applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete presales process including requirement gathering, solution design, technical presentations, and proposal development.
• Act as a trusted consultant for clients and internal stakeholders on topics such as custom software development, legacy system modernization, cloud-native designs, mobile app development, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Collaborate with sales to identify and qualify opportunities within custom application and modernization domains.
• Transform client needs into high-level technical solution designs emphasizing architecture, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct technical demos, architecture walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept presentations to validate solutions.
• Prepare responses to technical portions of RFIs, RFPs, including compliance matrices, and create tailored proposals highlighting value propositions.
• Contribute to drafting Statements of Work and Bill of Quantities for application and modernization initiatives.
• Engage in bid strategy development, proposal creation, pricing considerations, and partner coordination where necessary.
• Stay informed on technology trends encompassing microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, API-first strategies, cloud-native environments, AI, and low-code platforms such as Power Platform.
• Support marketing and enablement activities that promote application development services.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years in roles such as technical presales, solution consulting, or technical architecture, preferably within system integration or enterprise services environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in designing and delivering custom applications with expertise in technologies like Java, .NET, Python-based frameworks, low-code platforms, or cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience in data and AI implementations, especially with Microsoft Azure Data & AI services, Copilot, and OpenAI is advantageous.
• Knowledge of legacy system modernization techniques such as system refactoring, containerization, and API enablement.
• Understanding enterprise application integration, workflow orchestration, and security fundamentals.
• Proven skills in developing technical presentations, architectural diagrams, proof-of-concept environments, and proposal documents.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and multi-tier application structures.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal.

This on-site position is located in Doha, Qatar, within the Application Development & Modernization Business Unit at Malomatia. The role focuses on supporting government and enterprise client projects and requires close collaboration across multiple internal and external teams.
