Job Overview

This position involves handling all dishwashing tasks and keeping the kitchen area clean and sanitary. Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small kitchenware.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and product rotation.
• Arrive punctually, professionally groomed and dressed; attend all assigned shifts, trainings, and meetings.
• Deliver excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, and demonstrate suggestive selling techniques; handle phone and paging duties courteously.
• Maximize sales potential through correct preparation, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising of products.
• Adhere strictly to established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and workplace safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe working and shopping environment; ensure equipment cleanliness and safety standards.
• Complete assigned opening, mid, and closing shifts; ensure signs and pricing accuracy; report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership at store, regional, or national levels.

Experience

No prior retail experience is necessary.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and walking for 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour shift.
• Work involves hand use such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Work environments include temperatures below freezing (<32°F), refrigerated areas (32-40°F), and hot areas above 90°F.
• Work can be in wet or dry settings.
• Flexible scheduling required including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Use of various tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery may be necessary.
• May require ladder use.

Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $25.40 per hour, depending on experience. Eligibility depends on hire date, location, length of service, and job type.

Team members who complete their first 90 days successfully and remain active in eligible roles may qualify for a base pay increase at the 90-day mark.
