About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Engineer at AvePoint, you will be instrumental in positioning our solutions by designing and presenting customised approaches that solve sophisticated business challenges. Your role integrates deep technical knowledge and consultative expertise to engage with customers, account teams, and specialists in order to tailor solutions and showcase AvePoint's value effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate in-depth discovery sessions to fully comprehend customer goals and craft compelling solution visions aligned with their needs.
  • Deliver persuasive technical presentations and customised demonstrations that captivate diverse audiences.
  • Develop value propositions that connect with various stakeholders, influencing customer purchasing decisions.
  • Drive solution design and engineering throughout the sales cycle with high autonomy, ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
  • Lead proposal writing in response to RFx requests to demonstrate how AvePoint's products meet client requirements.
  • Support marketing efforts by creating and presenting product demos, workshops, whitepapers, and thought leadership content.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven background in customer-facing presales or technical consulting roles, with experience proposing software solutions across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinker adept at combining technical insight with sales acumen to drive deal closures.
  • Confident presenter, capable of leading conversations and managing meetings across diverse audiences.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 architecture, including components like Purview, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of additional cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Salesforce, and other SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex technical challenges and translate business requirements into practical technical designs.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work model requiring at least three days in the Sydney office weekly.
  • Work hours typically from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for role responsibilities.
